6 days and counting...
Hey yo, just wanted to say that we are 6 days out. Lots to get done by the time we leave, so we are moving quickly.
I haven't decided yet how I am going to do our Thailand updates. Would it be easier to just post on this blog or do more people read the cobalt season blog? Or ought I just post on both? Or links from one to the other each time I post?!? Too many options, but would love some guidance.
Okay, in the meantime, an update on funds. We raised between $750-1000 personally so far. Anchor Point is also going to clear out much of it's funds for projects on the trip...hoping that'll be about $2500-3000. We are hoping to bring about $1500-2000 from the Relational Tithe. The RT is an incredible community we are a part of. And we are still waiting to hear back from a private foundation about supporting some of our projects. So we seem to be nearing the $10,000 mark that we were hoping for. There is still much to be done post-tsunami in SE Asia.
Okay, enough blathering. Time to get back to work. Pope-gone-mai!
