June 8th - LAX-BKK (via Osaka, Japan)
We woke this morning at 5.30am, grabbed breakfast, packed into Chara's brother's Ford Mustang (yah, tight), got the last of our travellers' cheques, and made it safe and sound to LAX. Not much time to spare once there...just enough to catch our breaths.
Ben and Chara and Holly and I boarded at 1.40pm and we are now 35,000 feet high over the Pacific Ocean. Only 11 hours into Japan and then another 5 from there to Bangkok.
Chara and Ben seemed to have found a way to sleep on the plane!
A little Thai desert dish...mmm.
Okay, the adventure has begun. More to come.
