Update on Projects at Hui Mai Pai Village
Just got an email from Pastor Chatchuwan saying that some of the projects we gave money towards are being completed. Korp-kun Pra-jow! Here's some photos from the email he sent me.
For Mr. Jarok, we gave him some start-up money for a barbershop and some funds to help buy a boat for fishing...

For Ms. Chain and family, we bought a boat motor. Many motors were destroyed in the tsunami because of the rise in the water levels and the salt water corroding the mechanical parts...

For Mr. Yawee, a fixed boat...

For Mr. Nad, a boat...

For Ms. Pa-Yam, a new motorbike (and hopefully sidecar soon)...

Before we left, we heard about a baby who had lost both her father and mother in the tsunami and was being raised by her grandmother and grandfather. Her name is Sanwear. They need help with milk/formula/food for the first 2 years. 18,000 BHT... about $450. We are planning on helping with this, but would need some help. Anyone want to go in with us for a one-time $50 or $100 or more donation? Let me know.
